Legal Aid Ontario is pleased to announce a slate of additional speakers who will be participating in the annual RLO Conference on Wednesday, June 25th, 2014.

Updated speakers and panel line up include:

  • Keynote speaker Professor James C. Hathaway – A leading authority on international refugee law whose work is regularly cited by the most senior courts of the common law world.
  • Barbara Jackman – Bringing matters before the Provincial Court
  • Hilary Evans Cameron – Credibility
  • Angus Grant – Roundup of notable Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal jurisprudence
  • Raoul Boulakia, Susan Woolner, and Prasanna Balasundaram – Bringing motions before the Immigration and Refugee Board
  • Michelle Shephard and Maureen Brosnahan – Working with the media on immigration and refugee issues
