Apply by May 23 for a bursary to attend the 35th Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop in July

Friday, May 16, 2014

The Osgoode Professional Development program is offering two bursaries that will cover the cost of attending the 35th Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop (ITAW) in Osgoode Hall Law School from July 6 to July 12, 2014.

Each bursary covers the full cost of registration (about $4,500) for a practising lawyer who cannot otherwise attend the ITAW due to financial constraints.

The bursaries are:

  • the Sheila Block and Prof. James Seckinger Fellowship, created to honour Blocks and Seckingers contributions to advocacy
  • the Hon. Justice David Stokes Fellowship, created in memory of this long-time, highly esteemed Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop instructor

How to apply

Send a CV, a persuasive cover letter, and a copy of your previous years tax return, no later than May 23, 2014 at noon to ITAW Program Manager Natasha Burrow, at NBurrow@osgoode.yorku.ca
