How to backdate your account

If you provide services for a client before a certificate is even issued, you can still get paid for your work in a timely manner.
For services provided up to one month before the effective date of the certificate: so long as you have not privately received any money from the client, go ahead and submit your bill for payment.
For services over one month before the effective date: contact your district area director to request that the certificate be backdated to your first date of service. Your area director may require confirmation that the client was eligible at that time. Once you’ve received approval, you can go ahead and bill.
