Major Case Management Office

The Major Case Management Office employs experienced lawyers to provide high quality criminal defence services to legal aid clients in accordance with the legal, professional and ethical obligations required of criminal lawyers in Ontario.

Cases will be managed in a manner consistent with LAO’s Big Case Management program, the legal aid tariff for disbursements, and LAO’s Panel Standards for Extremely Serious Criminal Matters.

The Major Case Management Office will ensure that conflicts of interest between potential clients are identified and appropriate arrangements made to provide counsel in these circumstances.
