Helping lawyers bill block fees - checklist of information you will need to bill block fees
Lawyers will need to provide LAO with new and different information to bill block fee accounts. Most notably, lawyers will have to input information about the outcome of the case. LAO has prepared a checklist to help lawyers collect the information needed to bill block fees. The checklist can be used electronically or can be printed. LAO encourages lawyers and their staff to use the checklist for each certificate. The checklist can, for example, be placed in each file for ease of reference when billing.
