Legal Aid Ontario (LAO) created an accessibility advisory committee in Sept. 2013, in line with its committment to provide equal access to services for all employees and clients.
The committee consists of three LAO staff and three non-staff members who meet quarterly to discuss and provide insight and advice on LAO’s accessibility plans.
Committee members are not necessarily accessibility experts. They are people who face real world challenges with accessibility and are open to sharing their experiences, insights and concerns with LAO.
